The Kuumba event was awesome. The feature spoken word artist was Jay Martinez and he totally fired up the crowd. I got to meet a few other vendors at the event and sold some shirts. The event included several vendors and about 8 poets. The Frank Duveneck Arts and Cultural Center is such an awesome place in Covington, KY. The center has various workshops throughout the week to promote art with the youth in the surrounding community. That’s awesome. Here are a few pictures from the event.
