The Go Tour. We’re Going. »

My friend Bryan McCartney and I are leaving this Friday (June 11th) to go on a trip. We have no idea where we are going or when we will get there, we are simply going. We are going to have a video camera with us and stop frequently to introduce ourselves to people and have conversations with people about anything and everything that might be brought up. We are trying to make connections with people thorugh our freinds and families so we can have a place to stay every night. So far the feedback and encouragement has been amazing. People have been contacting us with ideas of where we can stay and what we can do to meet people.

One of our focuses is to live life through the stories of others. Everyone on this earth has a story, everyone’s story is different and awesome. We want to explore that even if it is only for a week or two. We are going to step out of our lives for awhile and dive into new relationships and see what happens.

You can join us here and I will be updating my blog and Twitter along the way as well.

We are calling the trip “The Go Tour” because going is the only thing we have planned. Join us.

Mini Vacation »

My friend and I took a trip to his lake house recently. It wasn’t a very long trip, we only stayed for one day but man is it good to get away from everything even for a short amount of time. We grilled out and just enjoyed nature. We stopped at a market place that was in the middle of nowhere and when we walked in the shelves were lined with a very limited amount of random items and we felt like we walked into an episode of the Andy Griffith show. It’s crazy because his lake hosue was only about an hour away from where we live and yet the environment was so different.

I think it is so important to take a day or two or twenty and just get away. Try it.

Choo-Choo »

What a week. I just got home from visiting a friend in Virginia. I decided to take a train to her house and the ride was great. Riding through the mountains on a train is such a great experience. It was awesome seeing my friend as well, I love visiting friends I haven’t seen in awhile.

The train ride took 14 hours. That’s a long time, considering it only takes 8 hours to get there by car, but I met some awesome people along the way. Danny, some dude from Florida was headed to Cincinnati to surprise his daughter at her wedding.

I also met a really cool couple that have an amazing journey ahead of them this summer. Check out all of their information at www.wifipedalers.com

A trip to Johnny Cupcakes »

Johnny Cupcakes is one of my biggest role models for shirt design and sales. When his Suitcase Tour stopped in Cincinnati I had to go. Here is my trip.

Summer Time. »

So it is summer. After a long and stressful semester it is so nice to be able to relax and enjoy time away from school. It is also nice to be able to have time to focus on things I want to focus on, for example this whole IKBD thing. There are a lot of ideas that have been in the works and I think the summer time is a great time to put these ideas into action. A lot of shirt designs have been floating around and also there has been talk of IKBD buttons?! Yes, yes, control yourself as you imagine these fashionable buttons being clipped to your jacket or purse or backpack or satchel. As always, stay tuned for more info. Peace out peeps.
